ABOUT US

The Horley Singers are based in Horley, Surrey and were founded in 1998. There are about 40 singers who meet on Mondays, mostly in term time. at 8.00 p.m. in the Methodist Church hall, Victoria Road, Horley.

Our singing year begins in September and finishes in June after our summer concert. We perform public concerts in June and December and we designate a local charity to benefit from our concerts. In between, the choir are invited to support fund raising events and perform mini concerts at local residential homes, clubs and groups.

Much of the music the choir sings is from musical theatre but our repertoire also includes light opera, religious works, traditional and modern songs. Abba, Beatles, Bee Gees, Cliff,The Carpenters and Elvis songs have featured in our programmes.
